Stephanie Shuler Hamlet

Stephanie Shuler Hamlet is a multimedia artist and business woman. She combines her business degree from Charleston Southern University and her talent for multimedia painting to own and operate the Hamlet Art Gallery on 7 Broad Street, Charleston, S.C. Hamlet paints to achieve a bold and spontaneous energy flowing through the exciting textures and symbolism in her mixed media work. She creates artwork ranging from florals, impressionists landscapes to abstract collages.

“I began my artist adventure with oil and pastels, drawn by their intense, rich colors. Through experimentation, I found a path to express myself in a more loose, flowing medium and have found my passion in mixed media. My Lowcountry background instilled in me a love for the wonder of nature. Bold color and visual texture are the language for expressing the emotion of my work. Painting natural landscapes and flowers, while adding my own interpretation and expression of love for my environment is an exciting challenge,”

Her award winning paintings are in public and private collections worldwide and she has had numerous solo exhibitions. Corporate collections include: Medical University of S.C., Roper CareAlliance, First Federal of Charleston, etc.
